A super hot pepper native to north east India and Bangladesh. Also known as Bhut Jolokia from the Assamese word “Bhut” which means ghost or demon with a flavor that certainly sneaks up on you like a ghost! This pepper was once the hottest pepper in the world with a Scoville rating over 1 million before being overthrown by the Carolina Reaper.
