Ghost Peppers Dried

A super hot pepper native to north east India and Bangladesh. Also known as Bhut Jolokia from the Assamese word “Bhut” which means ghost or demon with a flavor that certainly sneaks up on you like a ghost! This pepper was once the hottest pepper in the world with a Scoville rating over 1 million before being overthrown by the Carolina Reaper. The flavor is intensely chili with the heat level intensifying/ blooming over time. Used widely in making spicy curries, stews, soups, and hot sauce. This pepper is 4 times the heat of a habanero. Bags contain 0.24-0.40 oz, typically 5-7 peppers
