Aji Limon Peppers- Certified Organic

We are big fans of spicy peppers with flavor, not just heat, and this pepper surprised us with it’s unique flavor profile. Also known as Aji "Limo", Lemon Drop, Hot Lemon and Kellu Uchu this pepper’s origin is from Lima, Peru and is regarded as one of the most flavorful of the Andean “Aji” peppers. The primary flavor is crisp citrus followed by warm heat. Rated at 30,000-50,000 Scoville units, this pepper provides a good spice level for those who want something spicier then a cayenne but not as spicy as a habanero. Excellent in curries, Caribbean dishes, fruity salsas, or tomatillo sauce.
