From the Rocambole Family, which are known for their gourmet complex garlic flavors and easy to peel cloves with thin loose wrappers, they will store up to  4 months in proper conditions. Spanish Roja typically has 8-9 cloves per bulb. The origins of Spanish Roja trace back to the early 1900's from Oregon and was originally known as Greek Blue garlic. Grows well in cold climates but prefers warmer winters.
